About the role

We build ruggedized electronic systems for demanding industrial environments. As units return from the field, we need a reliable, hands-on technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and coordinate returns. You won't be designing hardware — you'll be following well-defined inspection and repair procedures to get units tested, fixed, and back into service, and managing the parts that need to go back to our suppliers.

What you'll do

- Follow structured inspection and diagnostic procedures for returned units (RMA intake)
- Triage incoming hardware into three paths: pass/reusable, repairable in-house, and return-to-manufacturer
- Perform hands-on repairs — swapping modules, network cards, storage drives, and similar field-replaceable components
- Re-test and qualify repaired units before they return to inventory
- Manage outbound returns of unrepairable parts to OEMs and track them through completion
- Keep clear, organized records of every unit, part, and its status




- Maintain an orderly parts and spares inventory

- Strong hands-on mechanical and electronic aptitude
- Comfort opening up devices and swapping internal components
- Careful, methodical, procedure-driven work style
- Valuable organization and record-keeping habits
- Ability to follow defined test procedures and document results
- No degree required — relevant hands-on experience is what matters

Nice to have

- Prior hands-on experience with computer parts and components
- Knowledge or prior experience with computer networking
- Experience with electronics repair, IT hardware, or RMA/returns workflows
- Familiarity with basic diagnostic tools
- Inventory or logistics coordination experience
