Equipment Operator (Vacuum Truck Operator)

We are currently seeking a reliable, safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting and operating vacuum guzzler units at customer sites while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate vacuum guzzler units and other vacuum units at customer locations.
- Transport vacuum units and tow trailers to job sites throughout Ontario and other provinces as required.
- Rig in, set up, operate, and rig down vacuum equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily equipment inspections.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in a clean and serviceable condition.
- Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
- Secure and chain loads properly for safe transportation.
- Complete required paperwork, logbooks, and electronic documentation accurately.
- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Valid Class AZ or DZ driver's licence.
- Experience operating vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment is considered an asset.




- Knowledge of proper load securement, chaining, and transportation regulations.
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work in various provinces.
- Robust commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
- Clean driving abstract required.

Working Conditions

- Extended periods of driving.
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work 12-hour day or night shifts.
- Work at industrial facilities, including oil and gas refineries and other customer sites.
- Frequent lifting, climbing, bending, and physical activity.
- Required to wear company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Overtime, weekend, and on-call work may be required depending on operational needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.43-$38.21 per hour
