Responsibilities

Include but not limited to medication administration‚ health assessment and intervention‚ providing required treatments and initiating‚ implementing and updating the residents’ plan of care.

Note: All successful candidates are required to have a vulnerable sector criminal records check dated within 6 months of the date of hire and have completed the two step Mantoux (TB) test prior to their first shift as per the Ministry of Health & Long Term Care requirements.

Qualifications

- Current Certificate of competence with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Experience in geriatric or Long Term Care nursing;
- Proven track record of demonstrating leadership‚ being self-directed;
- Proven track record of demonstrating skills in planning‚ co-ordinating and supervising the work of other nursing personnel;
- Must show evidence of maturity‚ excellent communication skills‚ empathy and an ability to work in harmony with a team.

Pay: $31.44 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Registered Practical Nurse Diploma (required)
