Title: Forklift Operator (Food Manufacturing)
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Pay Rate: $21.50/hour

Shift: Must be flexible to work Days, Afternoons & Nights, weekends inclusive (Shift start times may vary based on production needs.)
Training: July 26th (Day Shift)

Our client, is a leading food manufacturing company in Etobicoke specializing in high-quality baked goods. They are currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join their warehouse team. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced GMP food production environment.

Job Duties:

- Operate Counterbalance, 2-Long, and Walkie forklifts safely and efficiently
- Offload incoming trailers and inspect shipments for accuracy
- Stage raw materials and finished products for production and shipping
- Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipment
- Move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Follow FIFO procedures and maintain accurate inventory movement
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following GMP and food safety standards
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support daily operations
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

- Valid external forklift certifications in Counterbalance, 2-Long, and Walkie (in-house certifications are not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operating experience




- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or GMP environment is required
- Experience loading and unloading trailers
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety procedures
- Flexibility to accommodate changing shift start times based on production requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be reliable with excellent attendance
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check
