Island Concrete Curbing Ltd. is locally owned and operated. Serving Vancouver Island and surrounding areas with over 40+ combined years of roadbuilding experience.

We're experienced in many applications such as curb & gutter, barrier curbs, putter style “pin up” curbs, decorative curbs such as exposed, banding, city sidewalk, driveways & letdowns.

We possess a wide range of concrete curb & gutter equipment in the roadbuilding sector which includes a Gomaco 3400 curb machine, Miller Curber putter machine, steel curb & gutter forms, steel sidewalk forms, concrete saws and more.

ICC is a new company that services mainly commercial roadbuilding construction. We create curb & gutter and sidewalks for both municipalities and civil companies.

We are looking for candidates that are willing to join a dynamite team from the ground up with lots of room for advancement.

POSITION: CURB & GUTTER FINISHER

We are seeking motivated and hard-working individuals to join our team:

· Strong work ethic with experience working with concrete

· Excellent attendance and a positive attitude is a must

· Curb machine experience is an asset

· Must have Valid driver’s license and have own transportation





· First aid is an asset

· Takes direction well and can follow and complete tasks timely

Qualifications:

· 1+ years in the concrete industry, willing to train the right candidate

· Curb & Gutter – Forming & finishing with steel and wood, install expansions, ramps, catch basins.

· Operate machinery – Miller Curber putter machine, concrete saws, power woodworking tools, experience operating a Gomaco 3400 curb machine would be a asset.

· Ability to read blueprints

· Able to set stringline – Read survey elevations and offsets

· Sidewalk forming and finishing experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
