- Perform field visits and take accurate measurements using laser tools, tape, and calipers
- Read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Convert measurements between metric and imperial systems
- Record field data including sketches, photos, and digital notes
- Communicate measurements clearly with drafting team
- Support troubleshooting on site with other trades
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings including installation and as-built drawings
- Coordinate fieldwork with Project Manager, contractors, and site teams
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained
- Maintain accuracy and quality of all collected data
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements / Skills:
- Minimum 2 years field experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Positive communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Understanding of construction standards
- Ability to convert metric and imperial units
- Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license
- Ability to work indoors, outdoors, and in all weather conditions
- Comfortable working in high-rise and construction environments
