Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers, handling transactions accurately, and promoting a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess robust communication skills, be proficient with POS systems, and have the ability to upsell products to enhance sales. Bilingual abilities and experience in retail sales or technical sales are highly valued to serve our diverse customer base effectively.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a qualified manner
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and mobile payments while ensuring accuracy in cash handling
- Provide product demonstrations and explain features to customers interested in technical or electronic items
- Upsell complementary products and services to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products and displays attractively
- Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills




- Manage customer transactions swiftly while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with product demos is a plus
- Multilingual or bilingual skills (especially English) are highly desirable for serving diverse customers effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening abilities
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
