Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Crew member to maintain and enhance the appearance and health of our outdoor landscapes. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions to perform landscape maintenance tasks that ensure our grounds are safe, attractive, and well-kept. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and landscape care, with a focus on teamwork and attention to detail.
Duties
- Mow lawns, trim shrubs, and prune trees to maintain aesthetic appeal
- Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners for planting and trimming tasks
- Operate power tools including trimmers, blowers, and lawn mowers safely and effectively
- Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants
- Perform landscape maintenance activities such as fertilizing, mulching
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by removing debris and trash from grounds
- Support seasonal planting projects and flower bed upkeep
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing attention or repair
Skills
- Experience with hand tools and power tools used in landscaping or gardening
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- Strong understanding of gardening practices including planting, pruning
- Maintenance skills for general groundskeeping tasks
