Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sign Maker/Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, and installing high-quality signage that effectively communicates brand messages and enhances visual environments. Your expertise will ensure that each sign is crafted with precision, meets safety standards, and aligns with client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship and creativity while contributing to impactful visual displays across various settings. Willing to be trained.

Duties

- Fabricate signs using materials like vinyl, acrylic, metal, and wood, employing tools such as CNC machines, channel letter bender, laser cutters, and hand tools to achieve precise results
- Install signs at designated locations with attention to safety protocols, ensuring secure mounting and proper alignment for optimal visibility
- Collaborate with clients and project managers to interpret design concepts and provide technical guidance throughout the fabrication process
- Conduct quality checks on finished signs to verify accuracy in dimensions, color consistency, and overall craftsmanship before installation




- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times
- Keep detailed records of projects, materials used, and installation procedures for future reference and reporting

Experience

- Proven experience in sign making or related trades such as carpentry or graphic design with a solid portfolio demonstrating previous work
- Have knowledge in digital design tools including CorelDRAW
- Experience with installation techniques for various materials and environments is essential
- Strong understanding of typography, branding guidelines, and visual communication principles
- Excellent presentation skills to communicate ideas effectively with clients and team members
