Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing expert medication counseling, and ensuring optimal patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, medication administration, and patient safety protocols. The Pharmacist will collaborate closely with healthcare providers to support patient health outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

- Dispense prescription medications accurately following physician orders and legal guidelines
- Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Review patient medication profiles for allergies, contraindications, and proper dosages
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations and standards
- Maintain detailed records of prescriptions filled and patient interactions in accordance with privacy laws
- Monitor inventory levels and order pharmaceuticals as needed to ensure adequate stock
- Educate patients on medication adherence and health management strategies
- Stay updated on new medications, medical procedures,



and industry best practices

Qualifications

- Valid Pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Hospital experience or acute care experience is highly preferred
- Experience working in pediatrics or with diverse patient populations is a plus
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting is desirable but not mandatory; relevant internships or training are also valued

Pay: $55.00-$57.00 per hour
