Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on CNC Programmer / Operator with strong experience operating and programming Okuma CNC Lathe machines. This role
requires both programming and machine operation, with specific experience in live milling, upper and lower turret operations, and working in a production
machining environment. Experience with GibbsCAM is preferred; however, Mastercam experience is also acceptable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate Okuma CNC Lathe machines
- Work with live milling (live tooling) operations
- Operate machines with upper and lower turrets
- Create and modify CNC programs using GibbsCAM (preferred) or Mastercam
- Set up tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure high-quality output
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues when needed
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
Requirements:
- 3 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer / Operator
- Solid experience with Okuma CNC Lathe machines
- Hands-on experience with live tooling / live milling
- Experience with upper and lower turret machines
- Proficiency in GibbsCAM (preferred) or Mastercam
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
