Responsibilities

- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions to ensure safety and well-being
- Support clients with meal preparation, nutritional needs, and feeding assistance
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning client spaces to maintain a hygienic environment
- Support clients with mobility exercises and transfers to promote independence and safety
- Follow care plans accurately and document all care activities,



observations, and changes in condition
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive client care

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
- Proven experience providing senior care or supporting individuals with disabilities or dementia
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures
- Experience in caregiving roles that involve cleaning, meal preparation, and home care tasks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion
- Familiarity with infection control practices and maintaining a clean environment
