Porter - Part-Time

Volkswagen of Newmarket is looking for a part-time Porter. You will be responsible for the daily inspection and maintenance of the vehicle display, appearance and general organization of all new and/or pre-owned vehicles at the dealership. This is the perfect opportunity for someone looking to enter the automotive industry. What You'll Do:

- Greet customers ensuring optimum customer service.
- Ensure showroom cars are cleaned daily and assist with coordinating showroom
- Ensure delivery vehicles are quality control inspected and acceptable.
- Deliver and/or pick up documents from License Bureau as required.
- Check in recent vehicles when they arrive by transport and notes any damages on Bill of Lading.
- Report all defects and/or damages to Sales Manager immediately.
- Ensure adequate customer parking spaces are available on the lot.

- Responsible to maintain the general housekeeping of the lot, showroom and showroom washrooms on a continuous basis to company standards.
- Report to Sales Manager and complete other tasks for sales department

What You'll Bring:

- 1+ years of experience in automotive field is an asset.




- Valid Ontario Driver's License and clean driver's abstract
- Ability to drive a manual transmission is required.
- Organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
