Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of medical terminology, medication management, and patient care practices. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with daily operations, ensuring accurate medication dispensing, and delivering exceptional service to our patients.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions.
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and supporting patient needs.




- Maintain precise records of medication transactions and update patient profiles as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation and storage protocols.
- Support administrative tasks such as processing prescriptions, billing, and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth pharmacy operations.

Experience

- Previous experience working in a pharmacy setting or hospital environment is highly desirable.
- Experience as a pharmacy technician or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and customer service excellence.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $18.25-$30.39 per hour
