Production and Mobile Sales Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Production and Mobile Sales Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the check-in and quality control of draperies, blinds, and rugs, while also engaging in mobile sales activities, providing on-site estimates, and take down and installation of blinds. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and customer-centric approach will be key to ensuring smooth operations and driving sales growth.

Monday through Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm

Located on the TTC bus route and only minutes away from the subway.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct on-site visits to residential and commercial properties to meet with customers, assess their cleaning and repair needs, and provide expert advice and recommendations.
- Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process of draperies, blinds, and rugs for cleaning and repair services, inspecting items for damages and special requirements.
- Accurately measure and document window treatments for cleaning and treatment estimates.
- Present professional proposals and quotes to customers, utilizing sales techniques and building rapport to close sales and generate new business.
- Assist the production team with pressing and finishing of draperies.
- Conduct quality control inspections of cleaned and repaired items before check-out, addressing any issues promptly.
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues across departments to achieve common goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area, including workstations, equipment, and storage areas, adhering to safety guidelines and practices.

What do you need to succeed?

- A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record,



with the ability to work at heights .
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy drapery and blinds as needed.
- Previous experience in customer service and/or a production environment, preferably in a retail or service-oriented setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills, ensuring accurate measurements and documentation.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
