Job Summary

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physiotherapy Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting patient recovery and enhancing mobility. Duties

- Assist physiotherapists in preparing treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Support patients during exercises and therapeutic activities, ensuring proper technique and safety
- Monitor patient progress and report observations to the physiotherapy team
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and clinical records
- Help with the setup and sterilization of therapy tools and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Provide excellent patient care by addressing questions, offering encouragement,



and ensuring comfort during sessions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans and discharge procedures

Requirements

- Prior hospital experience or exposure to acute care settings is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
- Proven ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered support in a clinical workplace
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently
- A proactive attitude with a passion for helping others recover and improve their quality of life

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
