Lagacé Paving is hiring an Asphalt Laborer to support our paving operations across residential, commercial and municipal projects. This role involves working alongside the asphalt crew to prepare surfaces, assist with paving operations, and ensure high-quality finished roadways.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with asphalt placement, raking, shoveling, and lute work

- Prepare work areas, clean edges, and support paver and roller operators

- Maintain proper compaction and smoothness by assisting with handwork

- Follow direction from the paving foreman to maintain steady production

- Work safely around hot mix, heavy equipment, and active traffic zones





- Perform daily tool and equipment checks and help maintain a clean jobsite

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in asphalt paving or civil construction (asset but not required)

- Ability to work in hot, fast-paced outdoor environments

- Solid teamwork, communication, and physical stamina

- Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to learn

- Valid driver’s license
