Schedule:
Monday - Friday - 9am - 5pm (Weekend availability may be needed)
Please note: Supervisors may adjust the schedule based on business needs.

Position Overview

We are hiring on behalf of a well-established auto dealership in Halifax, NS seeking skilled and detail-oriented QC Inspectors (Vehicle). This role involves conducting thorough inspections to ensure all vehicles meet strict dealership quality standards prior to approval.

This is a rapid-paced and demanding position, ideal for individuals who thrive under pressure and have a sharp eye for identifying even the smallest imperfections, including scratches, dents, and interior defects.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform detailed exterior inspections (body condition, dents, scratches, paint, lights, tires)
- Conduct interior inspections (seats, dashboard, electronics, controls, overall condition)
- Accurately complete and submit inspection checklists & reports
- Ensure all vehicles meet dealership quality standards
- Identify, document, and report defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain organized inspection records for audits and quality control





Requirements

- Previous vehicle inspection / automotive detailing experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems
- Automotive repair/mechanic experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to complete thorough inspections within 10–15 minutes
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Strong English communication and documentation skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends

Additional Information

Training will be provided; however, we are looking for fast learners who can quickly perform accurate and efficient inspections. This is a high-responsibility role with no margin for error, requiring focus, speed, and precision.
