We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team at a busy Greek Eatery & Market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, along with experience in restaurant management and team leadership. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring food safety standards are met, and managing kitchen operations effectively. Responsibilities

- Assist in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary

Experience





- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management
- Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and inspire kitchen staff
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen workplace is preferred
- A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
