We are currently looking for a Building Manager / Resident Building Manager for a Vancouver site. The Manager is responsible for maintaining a residential high-rise complex.

We are looking for friendly, reliable, and professional individuals with a strong handyperson / building maintenance experience.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Looking after the property, maintaining the common area
- General maintenance & repairs of the common area, excluding those of a technical certified trades nature
- Performs minor repairs to the common facility and common property (Door adjustments - Lock repairs - Minor electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs - Minor painting work - Drywall repairs - Minor carpentry work)
- Inspection of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Meeting trades & coordinating access to the building
- Coordination of move in/out
- Programming fobs, buzzer
- Provide weekly and monthly reports
- Administrative and communication skills, writing emails
- Communicate with residents and management as required
- General and routine inspection of common areas, be able to recognize a potential technical problems
- Manage building support staff, including building caretaker




- Perform or assist in all janitorial/maintenance/operational tasks if necessary or as coverage is needed, including: power washing, leaf blowing and ice melting
- Carry out all other duties not specifically listed above, but reasonably within the role of a Building Manager

QUALICIFACTIONS & REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum 5 years of Building Manager experience
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Excellent time management
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to deal with residents and trades in a positive & respectful manner
- Knowledge of Building Systems
- References Required
