Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 310T Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This paid apprenticeship position offers hands-on experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair, focusing on developing your mechanical skills and industry knowledge. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced technicians to learn the ins and outs of heavy equipment servicing, ensuring trucks operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Assist in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty trucks, including engine, transmission, brake, and electrical systems
- Support the maintenance of various industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Use hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
- Participate in heavy lifting activities with appropriate safety procedures
- Learn to operate heavy equipment safely for inspection and repair purposes




- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work workplace during all maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used

Requirements

- Strong interest in automotive repair, heavy equipment operation, or industrial maintenance
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Willingness to learn about schematics, electrical systems, and heavy machinery operation
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or clients
- Previous dealership or mechanic experience is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license; relevant certifications such as forklift or crane operation are advantageous
