Kickstart your engineering career with Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries as a 4th Class Power Engineer Student in our Indigenous Program. Work hands-on with plant operations, from turbines to boilers, at our Mill Site location. Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries Inc. is looking for a dedicated 4th Class Power Engineer Student for a short-term contract.

This role is ideal for Indigenous candidates interested in operating and maintaining essential machinery in our Chemical Recovery and Utility Plant. You will gain experience and be expected to complete the ABSA 4th Class Power Engineering ticket within one year. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and service boilers and HVAC systems
- Monitor and inspect process equipment and gauges




- Perform daily chemical tests and maintain equipment
- Troubleshoot basic operational issues on-site
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all systems Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- Indigenous candidates preferred, residing near FMA area
- Commitment to ABSA 4th Class Power Engineering ticket
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Basic computer proficiency in Word and Excel Develop your skills in a unique setting at Al-Pac and contribute to our quality operations.
