About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manager, Corporate Accounting to oversee corporate accounting operations, ensure the integrity of financial reporting, and support the month-end and year-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee general ledger (GL) accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS or GAAP
- Manage corporate consolidations and support external audit requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls
- Provide variance analysis and commentary on financial results for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A;, Tax, and Treasury teams
- Support system implementations and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

- CPA designation required
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Proven ability to manage tight deadlines across multiple close cycles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- Public accounting background an asset
