We are seeking a talented leader to join our Capital Infrastructure Delivery Office. The Assistant Deputy Minister oversees major capital projects that are essential to departmental priorities and government operations.

This position provides strategic leadership and direction for the transportation capital program delivery division, which develops and delivers major highway, bridge, airport, and aerodrome projects.

Essential Qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume; ensure you use a month/year to month/year format and include the duties you performed in each of your positions.

- Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Law, or other related discipline;
- Considerable executive-level experience in the public sector, including strategic planning, human resources, and financial management;




- Significant experience at a senior level directing the delivery of a multi-million-dollar construction projects;
- Experience building relationships, and working collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders;
- Experience working with First Nation governments would be an asset.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

Job Requirements

This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following job requirements:

- Travel within and outside of Yukon.
