Gislason Targownik Peters is a Manitoba based CPA firm serving owner-managed and private businesses. We're hiring a full-time, permanent Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to start immediately in our Winnipeg office. You would join our small front-office team working with our accounting staff and partners to support our clients.

What you'll own:

- First point of contact — greeting clients, answering and routing calls
- Client and CRA correspondence — typing letters, printing and binding year-end packages and financial statements
- File management — filing, scanning, photocopying, data entry
- Daily errands — bank deposits, mail, orders, drop-offs
- Some monthly bookkeeping
- Additional duties as assigned

As you settle into the role, there's room to take on more — bookkeeping work, involvement in client work, and other responsibilities beyond the core reception duties, depending on your interests and how the role develops. Schedule: A typical day is 8:30 to 4:30. Like most accounting firms,



our busiest stretch runs through tax season (roughly March - June), when workload and hours pick up. The rest of the year is steadier.

What you bring:

- 3+ years administrative or reception experience in an accounting or other professional office setting
- Strong Word and Excel skills; QuickBooks, Xero, or TaxPrep experience an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
