Position: Android Engineer

Location: Calgary, Canada ( 3 days onsite is must and in person interview is must)

Duration: 12 Months Responsibilitie s- Construct, enhance, and troubleshoot native Android applications in an Agile, collaborative environment

.

- Implement complex new features and functionality across the application stack

.

- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and business partners to create robust and functional solutions

.

- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

.

- Diagnose and resolve issues relating to performance, reliability, and scalability

.

- Maintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and testing .

Qualificatio ns- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experienc e.

- 5–7 years of experience building and maintaining large-scale Android application s.
- Deep knowledge of Kotlin and Kotlin Coroutine s.
- Hands-on experience with Android Architecture Components, MVVM, and Jetpack Compos e.
- Strong hands-on experience leveraging AI tooling across the software development lifecycle (SDLC

).

- Exceptional Object-Oriented (OO)



design and development skill s.
- Solid experience with asynchronous programming and concurrency on Androi d.
- Proven experience with unit testing and UI testing framework s.
- Demonstrated track record of high productivity in application architecture, design, coding, and debuggin g.
- Experience with enterprise-level branching/merging workflows using Jenkin s.
- Strong understanding of mobile performance, latency, and security issues, with hands-on experience using performance analysis tool s.
- Solid grasp of current technological trends, best practices in information security, wireless network architecture, mobile technologies, and related concept s.

Preferred Qualificati ons- Familiarity with Room, Dagger, and other libraries commonly used in our tech stack (huge plu s).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment process es.
- Previous experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small development tea ms.
- Open source contributions or active engagement in the Android developer communi ty.
