Global Financial Firm located in Mississauga, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Application Development Lead Analyst (DevOps)

Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience

Location: Mississauga, ON

Summary:

- The role involves establishing and implementing current or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
- This is a senior-level position focused on leading applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements.
- Resolve high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of complex business and system processes.
- Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary.
- Assess risk when business decisions are made,



demonstrating consideration for the company's reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets.
- Plan, schedule, and manage the end-to-end release process for all software applications.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of all non-production environments.
- Assist in managing and improving the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Requirements:

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role.
- Extensive experience in system analysis and programming of software applications.
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience required.
- Master’s degree preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with release management and environment management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
