Role Description

This is a full time, on-site role for an Applications and Quotations Specialist, located in Vancouver, BC. The specialist will be responsible for providing application support, preparing quotations for customers, addressing technical inquiries, troubleshooting product-related issues, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include working closely with the sales and engineering teams to align solutions with customer needs, analyzing customer requirements, and supporting various technical documentation and configurations.

Qualifications





- Strong attention to detail with the ability to read drawings and measurements and convert them into accurate run counts and material lists.
- Solid analytical skills to evaluate customer needs and recommend complete lighting solutions.
- Experience in lighting, electrical, or low-voltage systems
- Ability to understand and explain technical concepts, including wattage calculations, voltage drop, Class 2 limitations, IP ratings, and control systems.
- Proficiency in application support and troubleshooting for linear lighting installations
- Experience providing technical support or creating quotations for a manufacturer or distributor.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clarify missing information and simplify technical details for reps, distributors, and contractors.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple quote requests.
- Ability to interpret lighting plans, architectural drawings, and site photos to produce accurate product recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with tools such as Excel, Google Workspace, and Monday.com
