Experienced Automotive Apprentice Mechanic

Overview

We are looking for an Experienced Automotive Apprentice Mechanic to assist with vehicle inspection, maintenance, and repairs while working under the guidance of experienced mechanics. This role is ideal for someone with basic mechanical knowledge who wants to develop practical skills in an automotive workshop.

Responsibilities

- Assist with vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Remove and install vehicle components using hand and power tools.
- Diagnose basic mechanical issues using repair manuals and schematics.
- Perform lifting and other physical tasks safely.
- Keep the workshop clean and follow all safety procedures.
- Provide basic updates to customers under supervision.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems.




- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and repair manuals is an asset.
- Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Previous dealership or mechanic experience is an asset but not required.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
