Archer Business Analyst – GRC, QA & Archer SaaS Role Description

- Support the delivery of enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions on the Archer SaaS platform.
- Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable, compliant solutions aligned with risk and regulatory objectives.
- Support Quality Assurance (QA) activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops and interviews.

- Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, and process flows aligned with Archer capabilities.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver business solutions.

Archer Configuration & Solution Support • Support the design and configuration of Archer applications, including:

- Workflows
- Questionnaires
- Reporting
- Data models

Quality Assurance • Develop and execute test cases aligned with business requirements and acceptance criteria.

- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including defect tracking and resolution.
- Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to define test strategies, review test cases, and validate system functionality.

Agile Delivery • Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release support activities.

- Support Agile and Waterfall project delivery methodologies.

Documentation & Reporting • Maintain project documentation, including:





- Business Requirements Documents (BRDs)
- Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
- Data mappings
- User guides
- Test plans
- Test cases
- Test results
- Support reporting and dashboards for risk, audit, and regulatory stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

- 3–7+ years of Business Analyst experience with Archer.
- Experience working with Archer Evolv.
- Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid understanding of risk management, compliance, or audit processes.
- Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in QA activities, including test planning, test case development, and UAT support.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Archer use cases, including:
- Operational Risk
- IT Risk
- Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)
- Audit Management
- Familiarity with integrations using APIs, ETL, and data mapping.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including:
- SOX
- OSFI
- ISO 27001
- GDPR
- Relevant certifications such as:
- CBAP
- PMI-PBA
- Agile/Scrum Certification
- Archer Certification
- Experience supporting large-scale GRC or enterprise transformation programs.
