Every day is different in restoration. As an Asbestos Abatement Technician with Total Restoration Services, you'll help make homes, businesses, schools, and healthcare facilities safe again after disasters and environmental hazards.

What You'll Do

- Perform asbestos abatement in accordance with WorkSafeBC regulations and company procedures.
- Set up containment areas, negative air systems, and decontamination chambers..
- Operate specialized tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate job documentation, site reports, and photographs.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, businesses, adjusters, and project managers.
- Assist with mold remediation, water damage restoration, demolition, and other services as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.

What We're Looking For
- BC Asbestos Abatement Certification (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of asbestos abatement experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of WorkSafeBC regulations and safe work practices.
- Experience working with containment systems, PPE, and specialized equipment.
- Physically fit and comfortable performing demanding work in various environments.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- IICRC certifications are considered an asset but are not required.
