You will work in a high-functioning, fast-paced, start-up environment where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As the inventory team continues to grow, this role offers excellent opportunities to develop your leadership, inventory management, and purchasing skills.

We are looking for a full time Assistant Inventory Manager with a strong interest in inventory management, purchasing, and team leadership to support our 19 retail locations.

Responsibilities

Inventory Operations (50%)

I.1) Daily Inventory Operations

- Assist in managing daily inventory operations and task distribution.
- Assign daily responsibilities and monitor task progress.
- Ensure all daily operations are completed on schedule.

I.2) Inventory Fulfillment

- Support inventory picking, shipment packing, incoming shipment handling, barcoding, and deliveries as needed.
- Assist the team during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

I.3) Shipment Coordination

- Track incoming shipments.
- Follow up on shipment issues and coordinate resolutions.

I.4) Warehouse Organization

- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Inventory Management & Process Improvement (30%) M.1) Inventory Control

- Monitor inventory levels, backorders, and inventory accuracy.
- Help maintain healthy inventory levels across all locations.

M.2) Inventory Analysis

- Analyze inventory turnover, ROPROA, inventory variances, and other inventory performance metrics.
- Assist in identifying trends and recommending improvements.

M.3) Root Cause Analysis





- Assist in investigating major inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions.

M.4) SOP Management

- Ensure team members follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate in creating, updating, and improving SOPs.

Team Leadership & Collaboration (20%) L.1) Team Support

- Support onboarding and training of new team members.
- Coach staff on inventory procedures and best practices.

L.2) Performance Support

- Assist with staff performance reviews and provide regular feedback.

L.3) Cross-functional Collaboration

- Work closely with the Retail, Repair, and Purchasing teams to ensure efficient inventory operations.

Desired Qualifications

- Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Experience in inventory management, purchasing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Familiarity with cell phone accessories, spare parts, and related products is an asset.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive between locations when required.

Physical Demands

- Must occasionally lift and/or move packages up to 55 lbs.

There is a 90-day probation period to evaluate your performance and overall fit for the role. After successfully completing the probation period, a performance review will be conducted to assess your progress and eligibility for a salary increase. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
