Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are operating safely and efficiently. The Automotive Technician will work with various tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment, to assemble and maintain vehicles.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential safety hazards.
- Assemble parts and systems according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.

Requirements

- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic in a dealership or repair shop setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with automotive schematics and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
