About the Role

This is not a typical service advisor position.

We're looking for someone who can lead a team, drive sales, deliver exeptional customer service, and keep the shop operating efficiently every day.

Responsibilities

Leadership

- Lead the day-to-day operation of the shop
- Set the pace for professionalism and customer service
- Motivate technicians while maintaining accountability
- Help create a positive, high performance workplace
- Solve problems independently before they become bigger issues
- Support and coach team members
- Work closily with General Manager to improve shop performance

Customer Service

- Deliver an exeptional customer experience from drop off to pickup
- Build long term relationships with customers
- clearly explain vehicle concerns and repair recommendations
- Handle difficult customer situations professionally
- Follow up with customers after repairs when appropriate

Sales & Shop Performance

- Prepare accurate estimates
- Present repairs confidently without high pressure tactics
- Increase average repair orders through honest recommendations
- Schedule work to maximize technician productivity
- Monitor workflow throughout the day
- Ensure vehicles are delivered on time whenever possible
- Track outstanding estimates and follow up with customers

Operations

- Manage repair orders from start to finish
- Coordinate with technicians regarding diagnostics and repair priorities
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure parts are ordered and received efficiently
- Help maintain a clean, organized front office
- Assist with inventory and operational improvements

- Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI)

Compensation

- Base salary: $75,000 - $95,000 (depending on experience)
- Performance bonus: Tied to shop gross profit, gross profit per labour hour, customer satisfaction, technician productivity, and effective labour rate
- Potential earnings : $100,000-$120,000+
