- The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- The candidate must inspect motors in operation, road test vehicles, and test automotive systems and components.
- The candidate will be responsible for adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of automotive systems.
- The candidate must diagnose faults and malfunctions and confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
- The candidate will be responsible for testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
- The candidate must estimate the costs of parts and labour.
- The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.




- The candidate must test and adjust units to specifications.
- The candidate must advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
- The candidate must review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
