We are a fun and relaxed family located near Commercial Drive looking for occasional childcare for weekends and evenings as well as some daytime coverage in the short-term for our 13-month-old as we transition her to daycare.
About the kids: June (the eldest) is fun, silly and keen to try most things. She loves reading, arts and crafts, any sort of imagination play, puzzles or going to the park. She enjoys a project, and can stay on task for quite some time if she's interested.
She can struggle a bit with peer interaction, but really enjoys grown-ups and warms up quickly. Harriet (the youngest) is an easy going, cheerful girl who is able to go with the flow most of the time. She loves exploring, playing, snuggling and observing her world.
She isn't a very fussy baby and even though she hasn't spent too much time away from mom and dad, I suspect she'd have very little issue making friends with a recent caregiver.
