Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food service, cash handling, and customer engagement within a dynamic team setting.

Prior experience in the food industry or as a barista is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The position involves working with POS systems, including Micros POS, and adhering to food safety standards to ensure a positive experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to company standards
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs efficiently
- Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling food items and maintaining cleanliness of food stations
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry
- Robust customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Clover POS, is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
