Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, positive and hard-working Barista/Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with coffee or a keen willingness to learn with training. You have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service; experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment; and love people.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers as you are the face of the business.

Responsibilities

- Taste and dial-in espresso and drip recipes daily.
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating areas.
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Effective time management - to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Create a positive work environment -with your colleagues and to enhance customer experience.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Dishwashing




- Cleaning (customer toilets, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning equipment, windows etc)
- Restocking packaging
- Helping other departments with tasks when required.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food preparation.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Receptive to constructive feedback to improve performance.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Effective communication skills (essential)
- Physical stamina for long periods of time on your feet in a warm, busy environment.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
