The Velvet Mousse is a boutique dessert café opening in Regina, specializing in handcrafted cakes, artisan pastries, premium coffee, matcha, and signature desserts. We're looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable team members who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso beverages, matcha, teas, milkshakes, and refreshers according to recipes.
- Take customer orders accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Ensure display cases remain clean, attractive, and fully stocked.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and custom cake orders.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.

Social Media & Content Creation As a modern dessert café, we love sharing our products and behind-the-scenes moments with our community. Team members may occasionally:




- Create short photos and videos of drinks, desserts, and daily café life.
- Participate in fun social media content and promotional videos.
- Feel comfortable appearing on camera when needed.
- Share creative ideas for Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.

(Previous content creation experience is an asset but not required.)

Qualifications

- Previous café, restaurant, or customer service experience is an asset.
- Barista experience is an asset but training will be provided.
- Friendly, positive, and customer-focused personality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn.
- Passion for coffee, desserts, and hospitality.
