Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Provide attentive guest service by answering questions, making recommendations, and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Assist in food preparation when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Handle cash register operations accurately,
balancing cash drawers at shift end and documenting all transactions
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach that makes guests feel valued and comfortable
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order entry and cashiering functions
- Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and upselling techniques
- Understanding of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
