We are seeking a passionate and energetic Before and After School Educator to join our vibrant team dedicated to fostering a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children. In this role, you will support children’s development through fun, educational activities that promote learning, social skills, and confidence. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a positive atmosphere where children feel valued and inspired to explore their potential.
Responsibilities
- Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety at all times
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate educational activities
- Support children with providing guidance and encouragement to foster independence
- Create a welcoming workplace that promotes social interaction, cooperation, and positive behavior
- Maintain a clean,
organized classroom or activity space that encourages learning and play
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curricula that meet developmental needs of diverse learners
Experience
- Prior experience working with children and special needs children, in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Strong understanding of child development stages and appropriate activities
- Communication skills to engage children and team members
- Passion for fostering a supportive environment that encourages curiosity and growth
Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
