Securitas Canada is seeking a reliable and professional Bilingual Lead Supervisor to oversee daily security operations and ensure a safe and secure environment for our client. The successful candidate will manage access control, security systems, scheduling, reporting, and incident response while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily security operations and serve as the primary point of contact on site.
- Staff the Main Security Desk.
- Manage access control, badge programming, CCTV, and emergency monitoring systems.
- Conduct security patrols and contractor escort duties as required.
- Respond to incidents, security concerns, and emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
- Complete incident reports, daily reports, and other required documentation.
- Utilize Workforce Management (WFM) software to complete digital scheduling and review staffing requirements.
- Communicate operational issues to Operations and District Management as required.
- Ensure compliance with client procedures and Securitas policies and standards.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to site security personnel.
- Monday to Friday, 0830 - 1630
- Must be available 24/7 if needed for training or shift coverage
- The Bilingual Lead Supervisor reports directly to the District Manager.
Qualifications
- Have a valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employee scheduling and workforce coordination.
- Proficient with:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Email applications (Outlook or equivalent)
- CCTV and access control systems
- Workforce Management (WFM) scheduling software
- Solid communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Ability to perform physical patrols and contractor escort duties when required.
