Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Body Shop Painter to join the Winnipeg Body Shop Department. Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, the Body Shop Painter will provide timely and quality repair, painting, and servicing of heavy-duty truck components.

The Role:

- Disassemble, reassemble, and prepare heavy trucks for painting
- Mask and tape truck body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Apply primer and repaint truck body surfaces; utilize air spray equipment to spray all types of automotive and industrial finishes
- Mix, blend, and match paint colours
- Refinish chassis of heavy trucks
- Follow safe work procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- A minimum of three (3) years work experience in the automotive painter trade is required
- Completion of a high school or college automotive painting program is considered an asset




- Previous experience with Imron 5000 and 6000 paint systems is required
- I-Car Points are considered an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge and comprehensive understanding of equipment, materials, and paint techniques
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Keen attention to detail; highly skilled in masking and colour matching
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently and safely
- Must be comfortable working on ladders, man lifts, and platforms
