Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Edmonton Mall Area is looking for an energetic, organized, and guest-focused Breakfast Experience Leader to join our team.

This is much more than preparing breakfast. As the Breakfast Experience Leader, you'll create memorable mornings by delivering an exceptional breakfast experience for every guest. From warmly greeting guests and ensuring our buffet looks fresh and inviting, to keeping the breakfast area running smoothly and efficiently, you'll help set the tone for an outstanding stay.

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in their work, and understands that exceptional customer service is just as important as serving a great breakfast.

Previous experience in a hotel breakfast operation, restaurant, dining room, café, buffet, or commercial kitchen is an asset. Leadership or supervisory experience is also highly valued, but we're equally interested in someone who naturally leads by example and takes ownership of their work.

Responsibilities

- Prepare, set up, and present our complimentary breakfast buffet each morning.
- Welcome guests with a warm, friendly, and engaging attitude.
- Create a positive dining experience by providing exceptional customer service and anticipating guest needs.
- Ensure food is fresh, well-stocked, attractively presented, and served according to brand standards.
- Monitor food quality, temperature, and presentation throughout breakfast service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting breakfast and dining area.




- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and serving areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Assist with ordering, inventory management, and minimizing food waste.
- Work closely with hotel leadership and other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
- Take ownership of the breakfast operation each morning, ensuring everything is prepared, organized, and running smoothly.
- Maintain the Marketplace by keeping it fully stocked, clean, organized, and attractively displayed, ensuring products are rotated and presented according to hotel standards.
- Monitor breakfast inventory, and assist with ordering to ensure all food, beverage, and operating supplies are well stocked.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, restaurant operations, or hotel breakfast service is an asset.
- Experience in a hotel breakfast buffet, dining room, café, or commercial kitchen is highly desirable.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is an asset but not required.
- Food Safe Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
- Solid communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Weekend and holiday availability is required.
