Job Overview

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Bradford is looking for energetic, reliable, and guest focused Breakfast Attendants to join our opening team. This role is responsible for setting up, preparing, maintaining, and cleaning the hotel’s complimentary breakfast buffet while delivering excellent guest service in accordance with Marriott brand standards.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast paced hospitality workplace, takes pride in cleanliness and presentation, and is comfortable with basic food preparation and kitchen duties.

Key ResponsibilitiesBreakfast Setup & Preparation

- Set up the breakfast buffet daily according to Marriott Fairfield brand standards
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items including eggs, sausages, waffles, oatmeal, breads, cereals, fruits, and beverages
- Perform basic cooking and food heating procedures safely and efficiently
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly labeled, and attractively presented
- Prepare coffee, juices, and beverage stations before service begins

Guest Service
- Greet guests warmly and assist with breakfast related inquiries
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and organized breakfast area throughout service
- Monitor buffet levels and restock items promptly during busy periods
- Ensure guests receive a positive dining experience

Cleaning & Sanitation
- Clean tables, counters, serving stations, and kitchen equipment regularly
- Wash dishes, utensils, and breakfast equipment as required
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of storage, kitchen, and breakfast areas at all times




- Properly handle garbage, recycling, and food waste disposal

Inventory & Operations
- Monitor breakfast inventory and communicate shortages to management
- Rotate stock using FIFO procedures
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries if required
- Ensure proper storage of food and supplies following safety guidelines

Support Functions
- Assist other hotel departments when required
- Prepare the breakfast area for the next day’s operation
- Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly

Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous food service, hotel breakfast, or kitchen experience is an asset
- Food Handler Certification is an asset or willingness to obtain

- Ability to work independently and efficiently during early morning shifts
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to cleanliness, food presentation, and detail

Additional Requirements
- Ability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform light physical tasks
