Role : Business Systems Analyst

Location: Ontario, CA (Hybrid — 2-3 days/week )

Job type: Contract(6 Months) - High possibility of Extension

Pay : CAD $55-60 /Hour

Start date : Immediate Role Overview:

This is for Cyber project a bit overlap with Fraud -- (capturing vulnerabilities and measurement to control exposures and what not), need someone that can capture requirements and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements from cyber security stakeholders (SOC, IAM, GRC, risk, compliance teams)

Translate security requirements into transparent user stories, functional specs, process flows, and use cases

Liaise between security/technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope and priorities

Support documentation of security controls, policies, procedures, and remediation plans

Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, JAD sessions, and stakeholder interviews

Create and maintain artifacts such as RACI matrices, traceability matrices, and risk/gap analyses

Support project managers with scope definition, timelines, and status reporting





Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming) if program follows Agile delivery

Support UAT by defining test scenarios tied to security requirements

Track and manage requirement changes and ensure documentation stays current throughout the engagement

Adding a bit more clarity to the ask… Cyber security experience in NW security, Incident Management, IAM, DLP etc… Experience:

7+ years Business Analysis experience

4+ years of experience in Cyber Security projects

Experience writing Detailed Requirement Specification, BRD, FRs, and NFRs

Experience working with Security, Architecture, and Engineering teams Must Haves:

Requirements management

Detailed Requirements authoring

Cyber Security domain knowledge such as:

IAM / PAM / MFA knowledge

Data Classification and DLP knowledge

Incident Management

Vulnerability Management knowledge

Network Security knowledge

Secure SDLC knowledge

Stakeholder facilitation

Traceability management Nice to Have:

AI Fundamentals
