Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and energetic butcher to join our growing team at Raymond's Butcher.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cut meat products with precision and care, following established safety and quality standards

- Handle meat product responsibly, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout all stages of food preparation

- Assist in packaging meat products efficiently to ensure freshness and presentation quality

- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures at all times

- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

- Support shop operations by organizing supplies, restocking inventory, and assisting with food assembly when needed

- Follow all company policies related to food handling, safety protocols, and workplace cleanliness





Requirements

- Significant retail butchering experience is essential

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, including butchery and meat cutting skills

- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper handling procedures

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting and cutting

- Basic knowledge of packaging processes and kitchen equipment is a plus

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
