Madera Kitchen and Bath is hiring a Cabinet Finisher to join our growing team! We specialize in high-end residential cabinetry and are looking for the right individual to provide industry leading finishing.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Spraying wood finished and polyurethane solid color top coats.
- Intake material from our production shop.
- Ordering Finish coatings and shop supplies, directly or through our purchasing agent.
- Spray and stain cabinets, doors, trim, and related surfaces.
- Maintain high quality standards and complete rework if required.
- Keep the mixing room and finishing shop clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Collaborate with the team to stay on schedule and hit deadlines
- Manage 1-2 prepping employees.
- Log working time and project progress in INNERGY (our job tracking software - used to log work and keep everyone aligned)
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of Custom cabinet finishing in a production shop setting (required)
- Strong understanding of coatings, prep work, and retouching and shading.
- ability to match and make stain colors from scratch using dies
- Experience using Pressure pots, Krelmlin airless air assist equipment.
- A Great attitude and willingness to both learn and teach.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
