We are recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist a female employer with Friedreich's Ataxia in all activities of daily living.

The employer has 3 cats, and enjoys makeup and fashion. The ideal candidate would be compassionate, friendly and chatty.

Location:

- Nanaimo, BC (Near Cinnabar Valley Park)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings
- 7:30pm to 10:30pm
- All other shifts available as back-up

Compensation:

- $26.50 an hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Personal care such as dressing and toileting
- Transfers using a ceiling lift

Required Qualifications:

- Driver's License and vehicle
- Non-smoker
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and yearly Flu shot
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with 3 cats
