We are recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist a male employer with ALS in all activities of daily living.

The employer enjoys reading, history, and current events.

Start Date:

- September 1, 2026

Location:

- Comox, BC (Near BC Ferries Little River Terminal)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- 8:30 am to 11:30 am and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm
- Saturday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

Compensation:

- $30.00 an hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

- Personal care such as assist with dressing, oral care and toileting
- Transfers to power chair, chair to toilet, and bed to chair

Required Qualifications:

- Driver's License and vehicle is required (There is no transit service to the house)
- HCA graduate or 5 years of experience
- Familiar with ceiling lift system preferred
- Must be comfortable working in an setting with a 40lbs friendly dog
- Fully vaccinated preferred
- Nonsmoker/vaper
